Hello June!
June has arrived and will guide us from the Spring into the Summer. It is an ideal time for connecting with the energy of the earth and the flow of the seasons.
We will reach the midpoint of the year on Friday, June 20th, the Summer Solstice. The Summer Solstice is also known as Litha, and Midsummer which is the longest day and shortest night of the year.
Litha is a magical day and the best time to celebrate the light and energy of the sun, and the power of mother nature. As you watch her lush transformation through the peak energy season, be curious and open to change.
Reflect back on the intention/intentions that you set for 2025, as we are have arrived at the midpoint of the year.
Ask yourself:: Do I still want to manifest this/these? Is there anything I would rather direct my energy towards?
This month’s yoga practices will be uplifting to align with the sun’s light. Strength building, awakening self confidence, increased energy will be some of the benefits received.
Our soothing Yin practices will continue to support the spring and the element of wood until the Summer Solstice. The meridians for the element of wood are the liver and the gallbladder. As we move into summer, say hello to the element of fire and the meridian for the organs of the heart and small intestines.
